Cloudian introduced the HyperStore platform in 2011, which is an ultra-large-scale peer-to-peer horizontally scalable architecture. In this design, HyperStore nodes are connected to form a single cluster, which is then managed as a single system.

Through geodistribution and multi-tenancy, this cluster can span multiple locations and securely accommodate multiple independent users. Starting with a few nodes, the cluster can grow seamlessly to the EB level globally as a single system.
